I’ve enjoyed my 3 weeks stay very much. We brought a group of 14 college students group from Denver and the staff and manger were really caring and friendly. Their service is excellent and the stay was very comfortable. It’s probably one of the best hotel around the Buddhanath stupa area. The food and drinks are delicious, the air conditioner works well, and the staff is super. Especially Sushil, Mendup and the two security guards who has worked with me the most really took good care of me. Thank you so much for everything, and I look forward to coming back again next year this time with our student group
The Hotel Dolmaling is such a gem. It is not often that the facilities, the neighborhood, and the staff are all top-notch. I was part of a group of 21 people who stayed for three weeks. The hotel is spotless--clean does not describe the polish and shine that is everywhere. The area is charming. The location is unique, and there is no foot or vehicular traffic at the entrance. The security staff is there 24-hours, and always alert. The food was always great. The menu is huge and offers choices for people from all regions. Another outstanding aspect is that the hotel profits go to support the Palnge Monastery. This was my second stay at the Hotel Dolmaling, and I look forward to returning. Namaste.
I had such a peaceful and pleasant stay at the Hotel Dolmaling. The staff are so attentive and kind, the managers bent over backwards to make sure I was always comfortable and content with my accommodations, and the food was delicious! The monastery, dining hall, and lobby were always a peaceful break from the bustling city nearby the Boudhanath Stupa (2 min walk!). My room was incredibly comfortable and peaceful as well. The hotel also provides yoga classes and has an amazing rooftop view of the city. I am definitely staying here again when I return to Kathmandu.
I cannot overstate how amazed I am by this hotel. The staff were the absolute friendliest I ever met, and were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helpful in every way; even the security guard welcomed my study abroad group with a bright smile every time we arrived! The food and service is wonderful, and having a monastery as a centerpiece in the courtyard is beautiful and fascinating! If you ever visit Kathmandu, the Hotel Dolmaling is the perfect place to stay while you visit. It became almost a second home, and it's so difficult to have to leave!
Lovely and peaceful place with reasonable price. I recommend you to go there for breakfast which I loved. It will be easy if you follow Google map because it's location is little bit inside though it's 5 minute walk from Boudha stupa.
